1. Information we collect
RaceIO may collect account details such as name, email address, team membership, role, authentication metadata, and support messages. The platform also processes team operational content such as events, schedules, cars, drivers, setup data, timing data, reports, notes, files, settings, and usage records entered by users.

RaceIO desktop apps may store data locally for performance, offline workflows, or sync behavior. We may process device, browser, operating system, app version, diagnostic logs, crash information, IP address, and approximate location derived from network information to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide the service, authenticate users, manage teams, sync data, generate reports and exports, deliver support, troubleshoot problems, improve features, secure accounts, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important platform updates.
4. Sharing and subprocessors
RaceIO may share information with infrastructure, authentication, hosting, database, analytics, email, storage, payment, support, and integration providers that help operate the platform. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
5. Team controls
Team owners and administrators can invite users, assign roles, remove members, and control how team data is used inside RaceIO. Users should contact their team administrator for team-controlled data access, correction, export, or deletion requests.
6. Retention
RaceIO keeps account and team information for as long as needed to provide the service, support teams, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain backups, and enforce agreements. Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
7. Security
RaceIO uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including authenticated access, role-based controls, managed infrastructure, and operational monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so users should protect credentials and promptly report suspected security issues.

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about how personal data is handled. Requests can be sent to support@race-io.com, and we may verify identity or route team-controlled requests to the relevant team administrator.
9. Cookies and analytics
RaceIO may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, diagnose problems, and improve performance. Browser settings may allow some storage controls, but disabling them can affect platform functionality.
